Gill loves to educate his children. I never know what im going to hear when he is bonding and i walk past. It can be anything from the physics of jello to the beauty of mathematical reality in nature. Last week he was reading them hindu fairy tales (or something). From the kitchen today, i hear him discussing how Alexander Fleming discovered penicillin while bitching to his old lab assistant about how messy everything had gotten since he departed. He'd picked up a pile of dirty petri dishes to show him and there was penicillin! So Gill tells norm, "thats why when your mommy is a complete mess, i dont mind. Because sometimes really good surprises come from a mess". To which norm added "thats why you dont kill her huh?" and he said "yeah buddy, thats why i dont kill her"
Happiness is watching your three boys dance to electronica in the living room around piles of unfolded laundry.
By the way? The hospital where penicillin was discovered? FUCKING ST. MARY'S!
